Since the Free Odds bet gives the house no betting edge, a Free Odds bet increases the players chance of winning a more even payout. Unlike the Pass Line bet, the Free Odds bet is dependent on the point number rolled. If the point is 4 or 10, the payout is 2-to-1. Similar payouts follow, depending on the number rolled; rolling a 5 or 9 results in a 3-to-2, while rolling a 6 or 8 results in a 6-to-5 payout. The Free Odds bet is usually restricted between the original wager and double the original wager.
